What is Slug Sci-Fi?
Slug Sci-Fi is a student club at UC Santa Cruz for the appreciation of science fiction across all media, whether it be films, books, TV shows, comics, animes or games. We aim to build a community of sci-fi fans that meet regularly to enjoy sci-fi classics as well as discover new science fiction gems.
Want to watch some cool sci-fi movies or shows with other UCSC students? This is the club for you. Want to discover great sci-fi books and discuss them with other sci-fi geeks? Pull up. Want to learn how to launch a CubeSat into orbit? You’re probably looking for SlugSat, not Slug Sci-Fi.
